2011 MSEDA Annual Meeting News!

Many of you have asked, “What about the Gala?”  Well, the Gala Steering Committee suggested to the Board the Gala be suspended for a year in lieu of all the preparations for the WEG.  Planning for the Gala begins during the summer months with the earnest work being done through the fall.  With so many of our members busily working with the Games, and Team Challenge quickly on its heels, we felt both MSEDA and the community at large would welcome a break from fundraising.

Prior to the birth of the Gala, the Board decided to move the Annual Meeting around the mid-south region.  They recognized that MSEDA serves a very large and diverse area and wanted to give all members equal opportunity to attend.

With all that being said…We are pleased and excited to announce the MSEDA Annual Meeting and Awards Banquet will be held February 12th-13th in Louisville, KY.  The meeting with be held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, with the exception of the Awards Banquet which will be held at the Kentucky Derby Museum.    For more information please contact Bev Henson at bevhenson@insightbb.com.
